Decent Digger Derricks
For immediate release.
Reconditioning Digger Derrick trucks is a specialized process, and I-80 Equipment has been in the business for more than 17 years. The process begins by taking the truck apart completely. It is then soaked entirely in a degreaser; completely power washed and sanded down to factory primer. The truck is then prepped in the paint bay. All steel boxes and chassis will be sprayed with Colar epoxy primer to give the boxes and chassis more protection. The top coat will be sprayed with 2.8 industrial emron paint. The paint will be heat treated to 100 degrees. Then the bed and walkway is sprayed with Linex, 100 mm thick. Then re-assembly of the truck is started. All broken parts will be replaced with new. Also each truck will be untapped during this step. All over sprayed and dirt will be taken off the windows and cleaned. The inside of the cab will be scrubbed down and cleaned for presentation. The cab and boxes will be duffed out and waxed with hand glaze. The final step is takes place at the mechanics bay. All Mechanics will be checked with a 77 point inspection PM Checklist as follows: Engine, Power Tran, steering suspension, brakes, electrical system, cab and body, tires wheels and rims. Each category will meet or exceed federal inspections. After our mechanic signs off the unit will go to an outside source to get federally inspected and certified.
