Reconditioning digger derrick trucks is a specialized process, and I-80 Equipment has many years experience. The process is begun by taking the truck completely apart. They then move onto degrease and power wash all of it. The truck is them sprayed with a primer to give more protection to the boxes and chassis and then it is sprayed once again with an industrial type paint that is heated up to 100 degrees F. Once this is completed, the re-assembling of the truck is started. Replacement parts are used along with waxing of the truck. The last stage in the process is a 77-point inspection with the mechanic having to sign off of it. Once this is completed, the external body is inspected and certified.
